"I graduated from a state university without advising, had 'below average' stats, and no connections to the medical field. Despite these obstacles, I was accepted to several of the top medical schools in the United States. From before I started Med Mentality, I always had a passion for mentoring, from coaching youth sports to tutoring to my prior consulting experience with a large company. I founded Med Mentality because I wanted the opposite of the standardized approach that is necessary for bigger operations. I wanted to keep it small and independent, preserving an unmatched level of accessibility and attention for my mentees.

The 'Med Mentality' emphasizes the subjective elements of the application, especially the personal story. We help students explain how their passions and experiences motivated them to pursue medicine. We also help students build relationships with professors and physicians to secure valuable experiences and mentorship and ultimately establish their own networks. Unlike others, my firm works extremely hard to get to know its students, leading to long-term mentorship, personalized advice, and the ability to preserve our students' voices when helping them tell their stories."
